WomenStories Welcomes New Managing Director
WomenStories is pleased to announce the appointment of Karin Krasevac-Lenz as Managing Director of WomenStories. She will work to broaden the base of philanthropic support for WomenStories to better support its mission of serving women diagnosed with breast cancer. Working in concert with Mimi Dow, executive director, Ms. Krasevac-Lenz will also foster partnerships with related cancer focused organizations to help WomenStories reach more women nationwide and in Canada. Through WomenStories acclaimed 10 topic video/DVD series featuring survivor-to-patient stories women and their families are given critical psychological support and valuable information.

Karin comes to WomenStories with over 20 years of experience in the not-for-profit sector. She is especially gratified to be working with WomenStories. "I love knowing that my time will be well spent furthering the laudable goals of an organization which makes such a positive and immediate impact on women's lives in a time of crisis." Her past experience includes Marts & Lundy Inc. Consulting, Mount Holyoke College, and Friends Inc. She most recently served as Director of Institutional Advancement at the Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy where she helped to bring their $12.6 million capital campaign to a successful conclusion.

Karin is active with many charitable groups including Girl
Scouts of Buffalo & Erie County, St. Mary's of Swormville, Clarence School PTOs, and Vive of Buffalo. She is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College. She resides in Clarence, NY with her husband Dr. Douglas Lenz, president of Falconeer Technologies LLC, and their three children: Jenna, Greg, and Rosemarie.
